Form is the visual content of architecture and from the urban perspective is one of the most important steps to construct the understanding of architecture body. In the contemporary architecture, formalism is the priority of form in architecture and drawing techniques conduce to formation, evolution of model and creation of ideas by the forms; that has evolved our understanding of architecture.

فرم محتوای بصری معماری و از شاخص‌های شکل‌دهنده در درک کالبد معماری از نگاه شهری است، در معماری معاصر فرم‌گرایی بر مبنای اصل قرار گرفتن فرم بر معماری استوار است و تکنیک‌های طراحی منجر به شکل‌گیری، تکامل الگو و ظهور ایده‌ها روی فرم‌ها شده و ادراک معماری را متحول کرده است.
