This article discusses how problems are formed, how problems are problematized in urban research, and the necessity of accurately identifying problems in urban areas. On the basis of this, a study can be conducted that forms the foundation for a research chain. A key objective of this section is to establish a dialogue which will be followed by the magazine’s revised “Research House” section in the next issue.

متن پیش رو بر اهمیت شکل‌گیری مسئله، فرایند مسئله‌مند کردن پدیده‌ها و ضرورت بیان صحیح آن در پژوهش (شهری) می‌پردازد و آن را به‌عنوان بنیان یک پژوهش مطرح می‌کند که زنجیرۀ پژوهش بر آن استوار است. این بخش نخستین گام در شکل‌گیری گفتمانی است که بخش جدید «پژوهش خانه» در مجله دنبال خواهد کرد.
