To consider an apartment as a small house causes misunderstanding about its quality of functions. The apartment is a half-house with its interior functions, but the exterior roles are given to the urban mechanisms. In that regard, houses with a kind of apartment way of life are understandable.

آپارتمان را خانه‌ای کوچک‌ دانستن سوء‌تفاهم‌هایی را دربارۀ کیفیت پاسخ‌گویی آن ایجاد کرده است. حال اگر آن را خانه‌ای نصفه بپنداریم که تنها اندرونی دارد و بیرونی‌اش را به عهدۀ عملکردهای شهری گذاشته است، حالا می‌توان دانست که چرا خانه‌های ویلایی نیز به‌اجبار آپارتمانی زیست می‌شوند!
